DislikedVery nice. Old threads are often very very good. Not my strats, but RSI 5, close, divergence around 85 or 15 and CCI 10, close or typical, divergence outside 100 or -100. Have a look. London open today and yesterday. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} That looks like a great opportunity, wish my schedule allowed me to trade the london open!Ignored
Disliked....but unfortunately, I am not able to find a realy good coded rsi-div-indi and/or cci-div-indi, which can show such good trade opportunities and give alerts. There is so many of them, but none is realy good or realy fast especially if you got a div within a few candles. What I found (paid versions also) is not as good as check divs by myself. Imagine this strat with rsi 5 and cci 10 div indis which are working together, hunting divs, receiving only valuable alerts.... wow.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yeah I haven't found any divergence indicators that are accurate. They miss a lot of opportunities and do not draw divergence lines correctly all the time. But it's ok cause I do know how to draw them myself. I have traded the 15 min timeframe and had success but I really like the 1 hour for my schedule and accuracy. Below is a cheat sheet I made when I first started divergence trading, it helped me big time when looking for trades. {image}Ignored
DislikedHey piptime, look what I found.... used them on the same pic to compare. {image} To keep the chart clean, div-lines can be turned off. {file} {file} I will play a bit with them to check if they are quick and accurate. Just for fun. Who knows.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Awesome. I will add this to my trading and give it a test as well. Thank you Wolf!Ignored
Disliked{quote} You and all readers are most welcome. Do you think we could exchange best settings we can find. Maybe for different TF`s. That way we all profit. Still looking for div indis for cci and rsi working quick and accurate within a few candles.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey Wolf I use the settings it comes with. Ive been having good success on the hourly time frame. My results from todays trading. {image}Ignored
DislikedAs I said earlier, examples with settings can be good for all of us. wildhog setting 8 and T3 cci setting 20, 5, 8, 0 And to compare those two, just rsi 5 (close) and the rich guy`s from "rags to riches" rsi 3 (blue, set to close) in M30 {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey piptime, I am happy to see your good results !!!! You are right, not much to change to make those two indis better. Now you only need to let the trades run for a longer time, trade higher lotsize and you are done....boom, millionaire lol Please have a look at the thread " rag to riches" or something. That man shows how real traders think and trade. He uses only rsi 3 divergences in the M30 timeframe and a bit of candlestick-petting like pinbars, engulfing stuff, thats it. I wish I could be that cool...Ignored
