DislikedIt is currently running on a per tick basis but could be adapted to check per bar if required.
So far this week a variety of results, what is the general consensus on how the EA should work. Lh has it working more like Lawgirl's manual system i think but saying that quite a few people have had good trades this week. I have had 3 losers and 10 winners so far but i have been messing with the code so the 3 losers are possible winners. I am running this on the same demo as jiva34's ma cross and Steve's generic ea to test the CBI module (see hanover...Ignored
Dislikedok, I have loaded the LG EA using the LG template.
I have changed the ECN setting to true every thing else is as ootb defult
on the pair chart up loaded there is a red dot in the middle of the chart.
If I place the mouse on it I get the following
#654434 sell stop 0.03 USDJPY AT 77.995
easy order (8051)
77.99
any thoughts on what this means or how to get rid of it?
there are no open orders in the terminal panel
odd thing was usdjpy was not loaded or on my market watch panel
thanks for all the work that has gone into...Ignored
Dislikedbabnz, that is an artifact from an order placed by a script (EastOrder).
To get rid of it Right Click on the chart and select "objects" find the item in the list and delete it, then re save the template.
Someone saved the template with the object on the chart...
FYI: here is the thread with the EasyOrder script... I use it, it works very well as a basic order placement and allows you to adjust stops by moving the line on the chart..

DislikedLong taken on gbpusd not sure why the EA took it??
any thoughts on this welcomeIgnored
DislikedWere you watching it at the time? Just a guess, but maybe the MA's crossed up on the H1 temporarily at the time, but later as the price moved (down) the cross is no longer apparent.
It's reasons like this that often MA cross systems look great when you visually backtest them, but in reality they don't perform as well.Ignored
DislikedI think you are correct here and i would guess that the option UseClosedCandle=false. If you set this to true it will check for the previous closed candle for the cross not "live" so should stop this problem but entry will be later. The default is false as it was not in Lawgirl's original system.
Anyone have any other thoughts on this?

DislikedI am a new member and relatively new to EA's. I have greatly enjoyed this topic but am having some trouble fully figuring out the system and the EA. Was hoping someone could take some time to explain it to me, I will compensate you for your time.
Thanks,
