DislikedDear MathTrader7, Could you add median renko as choose renko type in your RenkoMultiChartCreatorEA? AppreciateIgnored
DislikedHi Dave I do not think it's up to your computer. But what you have already described I had earlier. Maybe you have to uninstall the MT4. But not the login and password data. Only the MT4. Reinstall afterwards. Indicators or EAs are not lost. Everything stays there. I simply uninstalled this with the CCleaner Free. Went without problems.Ignored
Disliked{quote} The median Renko like standard Renko does not represent true price move in the market, especially in a backtest it is problematic. For this reason I do not use the median Renko charts and won't program it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi MathTrader7 About true price move in the market, do you mean the standard & median renko chart ignore some price until it fulfill to form a new brick? As it doesn’t not present all the price information?Ignored

Why M1 & H1 chart in median renko will present slightly different brick? Unlike your non-gap renko no matter in what timeframe i used the non-gap renko still remain the exactly same brick.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Standard Renko shows a gap of size of the Renko brick from the close of the previous candle to the open of the current candle when the direction of the Renko changes (either from bullish to bearish or from bearish to bullish). Such a gap is unrealistic and doesn't happen in reality. A similar thing happens to the median Renko (which is even worse). Due to these unrealistic gaps, they make the backtest of Standard and Median Renko to be inaccurate since they represent the history far from the real move (fluctuation) of the price. {quote}...Ignored
DislikedHi Mat, I am using the latest version of your EA, but find that it sometimes creates a double sized candle i.e. I set my candle to 6 and it starts out with a 12. Any reason for that plse and can it be overcome? Thanks for responding.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for your reply Mat, but I have re-read #Post 1 several times including about history, etc. Even your screen shot shows the 2 candles that you have marked as "double" values and that is all I wanted to understand. I don't see any explanation for that in your post though. Otherwise I am satisfied with its performance. Continued success to you. H.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Okay, let's go through Post 1 step by step together: In the first paragraph it says: "In standard Renko charts there is a gap of brick size between open of the reverse brick and the close of the previous brick. The Renko creator EA presented here creates a non-gap version of Renko charts." Now let's look at the first image on Post 1: {image} On above image there are two candles with double sizes of the Renko size which are labeled No Gap, right? Okay, now let's read again the bold sentence of the first paragraph I highlighted above, "The...Ignored
Disliked{quote} but a no-gap in my mind is a no-gap and in this case you always get a double candle to the last digit.Ignored

DislikedHello Math. I'm trying to understand why Renko missed a 20 pips down. in settings there is a brick = 2 pips, so it should in any case display it. I hope you understand what i am talking about {image} {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Witcher! As it is mentioned in Post 1, Multi-Symbol Renko Chart Creator EA is Experimental and it is highlighted in Post 1 under the section of Multi-Symbol EA that "This works best for Renko brick sizes of greater than 50 points (5pips)." Please first read Post 1 carefully, and if you didn't find your answer, you are all welcome to ask your questions here. /MattIgnored
