The question is ... Accumulating what, GBP or USD?. If they are accumulating GBP (distributing USD) then prices will go up but if they are accumulating USD (distributing GBP) prices will go down. So the question is, ... What are they accumulating???. ...

When you accumulate one currency you distribute the other one of the pair. That's all you need to know.

Every volume you could get for Forex will be tick volume. Remember that Forex is not a centralized market so you can't have the real volume.

Exact!. There is no Holy Grail. VSA doesn't work always, and to understand it you have to study a LOT and spend MANY hours of monitoring. I think it's just another way of looking at the market.
