In January 2020 the index of producer prices for industrial products increased by 0.2% compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year. In December 2019 the annual rate of change all over had been -0.2%, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office. Compared with the preceding month December 2019 the overall index rose by 0.8% in January 2020 (+0.1% in December 2019).Prices of non-durable consumer goods increased by 3.6% compared to January 2019 (+0.1% on December 2019).
