The biggest changes were in arrivals from: Australia (down 3,500) United States (up 1,800) China (up 1,700). Overseas trips by New Zealand residents were up 17,500 to 291,100. The biggest changes were in departures to: Australia (up 4,300) Indonesia (up 3,100) United States (up 2,900). Permanent and long-term arrivals were down 100 to 11,000.
