Ms. Mester, the US is enjoying the second longest economic recovery of all time. How long can this last? In my opinion, the US economy is currently doing very well. The labor market is really strong, personal incomes are rising and the sentiment among businesses and consumers is very good. Investments are also picking up for one year now, which is also positive. Growth has thus become more balanced. It is not all dependent on consumers. All this indicates that the upswing can continue for some time. That does not mean that there are no risks.
