Global economic growth continues to strengthen and broaden across countries. The US economy remains robust, while growth has also firmed in other advanced economies and in many emerging-market economies (EMEs). The global growth profile is modestly above that in the October Monetary Policy Report, averaging about 31 /2 per cent over 2017–19 (Table1).
