Currency exchange manager robbed of HKD960,000 in 6-man Wan Chai heist

The manager of a currency exchange shop saw himself robbed of HKD960,000 yesterday after a heist in Wan Chai involving at least six robbers. The 61-year-old victim, surnamed Tse, withdrew the money from a HSBC branch on Hennessy Road at around 3pm, according to an Apple Daily report, as translated by EJI. Tse put the money inside a tote bag, inside his backpack – universally accepted as they safest way to transport anything close to a million dollars.
