Before you go putting all your savings in a long EURUSD position, let me tell you why. Each year at around the turn of the year, traders and analysts get roped into making year end projections (that is the loud sucking sound you hear around that time of the year). I fell for it this year. The problem with the year end projections (and most longer term projections) is that the surprises are not predictable, and most of us are programmed to project the future by what is happening today.
