Obama: will seek congressional approval for strike

President Barack Obama on Saturday said he would seek congressional authorization on the use of military force against Syria. Obama also said he had decided military action is appropriate. Obama made his statement from the White House Rose Garden hours after a United Nations weapons inspections team left Syria. "I know well we are weary of war," Obama said. "That's why we're not contemplating putting our troops in the middle of someone else's war."
