The index of selling prices in wholesale trade was up 2.8% on an annual average in 2012 from the preceding year, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). Compared with December 2011, the index increased by 3.2% in December 2012. In November 2012 the annual rate of change was also +3.2% and in October 2012 it was +4.6%, respectively.
