Provost Minor, Dean Einhorn, members of the faculty, family and friends, graduates of the class of 2012: congratulations to all of you. It is an honor to stand here 27 years after receiving my degree from SAIS. I had great professors. I learned a lot. I miss the pool table. I want to offer my compliments to Dean Einhorn for all that she has done for SAIS, for leaving a strong institution to her capable successor, Vali Nasr. This is a remarkably diverse class.
