Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund, has been charged with attempted rape and unlawful imprisonment, New York Police Department said today. “On Saturday, May 14, 2011 at approximately 13:30 hours, inside of 45 West 44 Street, within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct, police responded to a report of a sexual assault inside of the Sofitel Hotel,” the NYPD said in an e-mailed statement today.
