Euro area international trade in goods surplus €23.6 bn

The first estimates of euro area balance showed a €23.6 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in February 2024, compared with +€3.6 bn in February 2023. The euro area exports of goods to the rest of the world in February 2024 were €235.0 billion, a slight increase of 0.3% compared with February 2023 (€234.4 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €211.4 bn, a fall of 8.4% compared with February 2023 (€230.8 bn).
