In December 2023 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of value sales slightly fell by 0.1% in the month-on-month series and volume contracted by 0.5%. In 4th quarter of 2023 value of sales grew by 0.3% and volume of sales decreased by 0.2% when compared with the previous quarter. Value of retail trade, in December 2023, continued to grow for the 33rd month in a row in the year-on-year series, rising by 0.3%, while volume sales fell by 3.2%.
