According to preliminary information from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector fell by 0.7% in November 2023 compared to October 2023, seasonally and calendar adjusted. This means that production fell for the sixth month in a row. In a less volatile three-month comparison, production from September to November 2023 was 1.9% lower than in the previous three months.
