Japan's Kishida to Talk to Media Wednesday Amid Financial Scandal

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will give a press conference Wednesday, amid reports he will fire four ministers accused of involvement in a slush fund scandal that’s engulfing his long-ruling Liberal Democratic Party. Kishida will address the media at 6:15 p.m. Tokyo time, in what would usually be an opportunity to tout his government’s achievements after the parliamentary session ends earlier the same day.
