In October 2023, German exports were down 0.2% and imports dropped 1.2% on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis compared with September 2023. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that exports decreased by 8.1% and imports fell by 16.3% compared with October 2022. After calendar and seasonal adjustment, Germany exported goods to the total value of 126.4 billion euros and imported goods to the value of 108.6 billion euros in October 2023.
