RBA governor Michele Bullock says inflation 'pretty much where we thought' but big four banks tip November rate rise

After surging on yesterday's slightly higher-than-forecast inflation figures, bets on an interest rate rise next month have gyrated dramatically on Senate testimony from the Reserve Bank governor. Michele Bullock was called to appear before the Senate Economics Committee, giving senators a chance to quiz her on the latest Consumer Price Index from the Bureau of Statistics.
