The U.S. Census Bureau announced the following international trade, wholesale inventories, and retail inventories advance statistics for July 2023: {table} The international trade deficit was $91.2 billion in July, up $2.3 billion from $88.8 billion in June. Exports of goods for July were $164.8 billion, $2.4 billion more than June exports. Imports of goods for July were $256.0 billion, $4.7 billion more than June imports.
