Key points for June 2023: • Seasonally adjusted total billings in New Zealand rose 1.9 percentage points in June to $4.4 billion. • Seasonally adjusted domestic billings on New Zealand issued cards were $3.9 billion in June, up 2.4 percentage points from May-23. • Overseas billings on New Zealand issued cards were $0.6 billion, the highest value recorded in a month since August 2019. • Billings on overseas issued cards used in New Zealand were $0.4 billion, falling for the third consecutive month. • Total credit limits were $21.2 billion (not seasonally adjusted) in June.
