Inflation, Borrowing Costs Remain Key Themes for Infrastructure Sector Outlooks

Cost inflation, demand/volume pressures, and higher borrowing costs continue to be major credit themes for global infrastructure in 2023, according to Fitch Ratings. Despite these challenges, the essential nature of infrastructure assets, inflation-linked revenue profiles, and capex flexibility mean that the vast majority of sector outlooks continue to be neutral for the year.
