The inflation rate in Germany is expected to be +6.1% in May 2023. It is measured as the change in the consumer price index (CPI) compared with the same month a year earlier. The inflation rate therefore continued to fall in May 2023 (April 2023: +7.2%, March 2023: +7.4% and February 2023: +8.7%).
