Registered unemployment in January 2023 - According to surveys by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), 100,776 unemployed were registered with the regional employment centers (RAV) at the end of January 2023, 3,835 more than in the previous month. The unemployment rate thus rose from 2.1% in December 2022 to 2.2% in the reporting month. Compared to the same month last year, unemployment fell by 21,492 people (-17.6%).
