Goldman Says US Dollar Strength Versus Asia FX May Not Last Longer

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is calling time on the US dollar’s strength against Asian currencies, saying it will wane in the next three-to-six months when greater clarity emerges over the Federal Reserve’s policy rates. “Timing the peak of USD is not straightforward, but on balance, the USD will crest as and when there is more clarity on Fed terminal rates, around 3- to 6-months from now,” analysts including Danny Suwanapruti wrote in a Sunday note.
