In September 2022, consumer prices increased by 5.6% year on year

Over a year, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) should rise by 5.6% in September 2022, after +5.9% in the previous month, according to the provisional estimate made at the end of the month. This decrease in inflation should result from the slowdown of energy prices and – to a lesser extent – service prices. The prices of manufactured products should increase over one year at a rate close to the previous month and those of food should accelerate.
