In June 2022, the euro area seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 6.6%, stable compared with May 2022 and down from 7.9% in June 2021. The EU unemployment rate was 6.0% in June 2022, also stable compared with May 2022 and down from 7.2% in June 2021. These figures are published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Eurostat estimates that 12.931 million men and women in the EU, of whom 10.925 million in the euro area, were unemployed in June 2022.
