In May 2022 the number of employed and unemployed persons decreased, while inactive people increased. On a monthly basis, the drop of employment (-0.2%, -49 thousand) concerned both genders and people aged 25-49 years, while other age groups rose. Overall, the employment rate fell to 59.8% (-0.1 p.p.). In the last month, the decline of unemployed persons (-2.1%, -44 thousand) was recorded for men, women and all age groups except 25-34 years.
