The US dollar is surging again as investors continue to shun stocks and pour into the conventional safe-haven asset. The greenback has been on a tear this year and it is maintaining its strength as the Federal Reserve is poised to become more aggressive on monetary policy to fight inflation. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the producer price index (PPI) eased slightly to 10.8% year-over-year in May, which is still near all-time highs.
