In March 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of retail trade fell in the month on month series, decreasing by 0.5% in value terms and by 0.6% in volume terms. In the three months to March 2022 value of sales grew by 0.2%, while volume of sales dropped by 0.8% when compared with the previous three-month period. In March 2022 both value and volume of retail trade continued to grow for the 13th month in a row in the year on year series.
