U.S. and Chinese officials held their first high-level talks on the Russian war against Ukraine since the invasion. The White House says the discussion between U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and China's top diplomat, Communist Party Politburo member Yang Jiechi, in Rome was "substantial."
