In September 2021 the number of employed increased, while a drop was recorded for both unemployed and inactive people. On a monthly basis, the growth of employment (+0.3%, +59 thousand) involved more women than men, and concerned people aged 25-34 and over50. Overall, the employment rate rose to 58.3% (+0.2 p.p.). In the last month, the decline of unemployed people (-1.2%, -28 thousand) concerned more men than women and only people aged over24.
