In June 2021, consumer prices rose by 0.1% over one month and by 1.5% year on year

In June 2021, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.1% over one month, after +0.3% in May. The prices of services slowed down (+0.1% after +0.3%) and those of food fell back (–0.7% after +0.5%). The tobacco prices were stable. The prices of manufactured goods (+0.5% after +0.1%) and those of energy (+1.1% after +0.5%) accelerated. Seasonally adjusted, consumer prices advanced by 0.2% as in May. Year on year, consumer prices rose by 1.5%, after +1.4% in May. Those of manufactured goods rebounded (+0.7% after –0.1%).
