The economic situation has picked up in the building industry in January. All components of the indicator have been revised upwards, in particular those relating to recent developments, whether order books or equipment used. Confidence has also gained strength in business-related services, albeit at a slower pace than observed in December. The regained confidence was mainly supported by the assessments and forecasts for surveyed firms’ own business activity.
