UK house prices increased by 5.4% in the year to October 2020, up from 4.3% in September 2020. On a non-seasonally adjusted basis, average house prices in the UK increased by 0.7% between September and October 2020, compared with a fall of 0.3% during the same period a year earlier (September and October 2019). House price growth was strongest in Scotland where prices increased by 6.0% in the year to October 2020, up from 4.0% in the year to September 2020.
