Registered unemployment in July 2020 - According to surveys by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), 148,870 unemployed people were registered at the regional employment centers (RAV) at the end of July 2020, 1,419 fewer than in the previous month. The unemployment rate remained at 3.2% in the month under review. Compared to the same month last year, unemployment increased by 51,292 people (+ 52.6%). Youth unemployment in July 2020 Youth unemployment (15 to 24 year olds) rose by 578 people (+ 3.3%) to 17,895.
