Given that economic data (such as GDP data) becomes available with a certain time lag, we have constructed a COVID-19 dashboard which provides an early indication of the economic impact of the COVID-19 virus in countries around the globe. We take a look at high-frequency economic data, survey data and financial market data. For a more elaborate analysis of the economic impact we refer to our most recent quarterly global economic outlook and long-term outlook.
