since Mr. T sunk dollar this week, this does become an important question.
IMHO
1. why disclosed classified intelligence with the worst possible audience? except for inexperience and carelessness bordering on egomania, there is no plausible explanation. would a sane person do this if he/she is indeed in cahoots with russians?
2. anyone reading assistant AG's memo on Comey would think C is eminently fire-able. Yes, AG did not recommend firing Mr. C, but if he did, he would have made the same mistake as the one he is excoriating Comey about in the memo. but why did he use AG's memo to justify the firing, but later changed the story? there could be a simple and less machiavellian explanation: the poor hapless spicer and his communication team.
3. the problem with Mr. T is his leaking ship. No president has suffered this problem in such a scale. Not only intelligence community seems to be on a warpath with him, one or more members of his inner cycle could be saying white in public, whispering black in private.
Mr. T did made mistakes in his first months in washington, but he is a newbie politician and washington is full of political tripwire and people ready to pounce.
