Disliked{quote} When I see demands like this, I feel like a completely idiot. I 've read 226 pages of this thread the past 20 hours with my eyes hurting and my brain spinning. BUT I did this to completely understand the philosophy and the settings of the system. To avoid bothering, the author and the programmer of the EA or other members, who continue forward testing, with boring questions that have asked again again. Just a friendly advice, do your research and ask when there is only a true and unique question. Everything you need to know is in the past...Ignored
Disliked{quote} You have just quoted his settings... No need for screenshot. If your confused about TF/FF/FT etc., scroll back a few pages and it's clear. It has to do with the use.current settings.Ignored
DislikedThis weekend I will try and find time to go through this thread and pick out all the information and put together a PDF with screenshots etc to help with getting the template set up and then going through the different settings. It will be an ongoing project! It is actually pretty straight forward once you understand what you are looking at.Ignored
DislikedUpdate: Shortly after my previous post, I decided to close baskets at 15:00 GMT instead of 23:30, the original setting. The EA closed all at precisely 15:00. By a stroke of good fortune, that closure produced gains at very nearly session highs. {image}Ignored
DislikedQuestion sent as PM to Xmess7 Dear Xmess7 (or anyone who are sure how this works) I have just a question, maybe silly and have answered before, but after so many hours of reading I haven't figured it out. Let's say that I want TP and SL individually for every trade, but also want to set a trailing for the whole basket. Will the following set work or not? I understand that I have to choose for profit between "basket" or "individual trades" options. But if I want something like the following picture, will it work? TPandSL for every trade, Trailing...Ignored
Disliked{quote} ECtaco: I did see your PM. No need to post it in the forum . Folks: send all questions of EA (bugs etc) to my PM or email. My email is found on my server under a text file called..... can ya guess??? LOL email.txt.Ignored
DislikedHi everyone and thanks for the effort in developing the EA so far! Can I make a suggestion? I think the most reasonable way for having MM is to make the SL and TP be % of current movement. As of now, it is either pips or % of account. However, neither of those reflect the actual movement of a pair. Since pairs have very different volatility, measuring the movement in pips doesn't make sense when trading multiple pairs. So my idea would be to include % of movement since the GMT open entered above. Thanks in advance!Ignored
Disliked{quote} EA worked perfectly today, opening and closing just as scheduled. At the time trades were to be opened, GMT 08:00, only Usd/Jpy was a verified signal, duly opened by EA. At GMT 15:00 EA closed trade for a few pips to the good. Overall not much movement in this pair today. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I first wrote the post with my question but then realise that is better to contact you via PM. So i edited my post, to let everyone know, that everything is ok and i sent you PMIgnored
Disliked{quote} As promised please find attached the first edition CCFp & XM7's EA guide. (I know Erebus has also kindly done one in the meantime - I had already made a start and Forexpinbar wanted me to carry on!) A couple of things: 1. This is a work in progress guide and I will add to it in time. I wanted to do a bit more before posting it but I am really pushed for time this week. 2. I have only scratched the surface of all the things that XM7's EA can do. I will either update this guide with an advanced features guide or do a separate guide altogether....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Pent, Erubus: thanks for developing the startup documentation. When the code is release for the last version I will review both documents. There will probabily be more items that are not mentioned. This really helps as it will facilitate the process for completing the documentation. Eventually we will consolidate (if need be) the docs so that there is one source. It won't be like my mess of versions LOL. Just one doc that explains it.Ignored
