Hey, everyone. I've never posted in this section and am BRAND new to MT4, so forgive me if this has been addressed. But I have a money management strategy to implement and I can not for the life of me figure out how to get MT4 to do it. Here's what I want it to do:
Let's say I'm trading single lots and building a position. Each time I get a BUY signal, I buy 1 lot. I can keep getting buy signals and adding lots. So let's say I've gotten three BUY signals in a row and have a 3 lot long position. Well, now I get a SELL signal. I don't want to close my whole long position. I just want to close the FIRST of those existing long positions. So for each new sell signal I get, I just reduce my long position by ONE lot until I have one long lot left. Then, on my next SELL signal, I stop and reverse to short and the process continues. So in effect, I am always in the market, and my position size is either accumulating or reducing based on the individual signals I receive.
I'm using EABuilder to try and work this out, since I'd like to leapfrog months of intricate code learning if I can, but I'm game to do the hard work if I must as well.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
