Hi Jerry,
Sorry I could not join the thread earlier.
I think that you are right in concentrating on EURUSD in such a complicated matter.
Personally, I failed in trying to make use of full moon and new moon for this market.
However, I definitely use the moon as a trigger of other planets conjunct to Asc MC and sometimes Vx or Desc. This gives average results.
As a first step , I had made a systematic analysis on the EURUSD using a 5 years data base in 5' and taking advantage of the TS efficiency test. Global results did not work very well and I refined them using the filter of the Moon zodiac signs. Then I selected only the probabilities in excess of 65% providing a significant amount of pips, as it appears in these tests. Then I introduced a correction factor based on the most effective signal time as compared to the culmination point.
On this basis (enormous work!), I have made approximately one year of weekly forecasts. Unfortunately, I have to say that the result is quite disappointing because of the lack of stability of the signals. They are very difficult to use in real trading, slightly better with the Moon trigger factor.
IMO the only possibility is to combine these astro signals to a strong geometric approach and to a pattern analysis (Larry Pesavento style), which work pretty well.
