DislikedAeseme, Are you reading orders from history to set the Concurrent [H]old state at EA re-startup ?Ignored
DislikedHi Aesame, I have been running x006d1 and x006f2 for testing on many MT4 account. So far no problem but today all of them were freezed. Close MT4 and reopen does not help. Other EA like Dash Fibo or Dash Direction still be working as normal. I observed no error message in Experts or Journal except NewsCal-v107 download failed - Error number 2. Is this a possible reason?Ignored
QuoteDislikedThe problem is just happening today. Also the dash suck CPU heavily. There should be no problem about historical data since the dash has been running correctly for weeks. Do you have any idea what went wrong? {image}
Disliked{quote} I don't know what happened but now DBASM x006d1 and x006f2 on all account with all broker are working fine again. I guess the dash might be unable to connect to a services server somewhere and have caused unschedule down time. This is quite dangerous if we trade in real account. FYI...Ignored
Disliked- A Hidden/Virtual SL/TP.....to hide from bad brokers when using the .....[ TP or SL%ADR(10) ] option for our SL & TPs..Ignored
QuoteDislikedQuote (Also the Basket [Lock=$] button isn't working..)...Got it enabled in EA but doesn't show as enabled, even when pressing button.. -And the trailing Basket Lock in profits 1-6 $ is't working {image}
Disliked{quote} First of all, bad brokers should be avoided.. BTW, have a look at DashTZ, btb is working on something that could be of your interest... {quote} What about your lock levels? I don't see them in your picture.Ignored
DislikedGreat work aeseme
If you could please fix a bug on the 'x' on pins, if you have the 'Reverse signal button' set as true, the orders open and close immediately because of the condition not met, you could add a check if the signal is in reverse the if statement in your code should check for the other way around aswell.
CheersIgnored
QuoteDislikedExample : if the pins says go up (buy), and the opened order on reverse signal goes down, they will not match but it should be ok since 'Reverse option is ticked', it should exit only when signal in pins says go down (sell) and you have an open order that is going down (sell) aswell, so if they match, the order should close, unlike the normal mode, where if they differ in direction close order.
DislikedAeseme just a quick question before i start reading the docs. I want to use a system where trade and exit signals only exist for a brief moment in time. Pin 1 && Pin 2 together (pin 3 undefined) at the same time = entry (after which pin 1 & 2 will go back to 0 or even opposite) Pin 3 opposite of trade direction exit trade. Possible ? {image}Ignored
DislikedHow orders are automatically closed when the signals that you have indicated? I think that your advisor can automatically close orders {image}Ignored
QuoteDisliked!!! Important notes about exit on opposite signal:
It requires [SYMBOL], [Auto} and Close[C] enabled to effectively close the matching orders.
If multiple [X] are enabled, all must match to produce a close alert (perhaps a match-any could be added later?).
Close alerts will be shown in Close[C] column and only on symbols having orders matching the criteria.
Dislikedaeseme. Is it possible to extend the pin management setting so it does not only exit on a opposite signal but also on the loss of original signal ? A signal Buy fi. in my triggers can turn to a 0 signal which is an exit.Ignored
DislikedHi all, I am very new to dashboard trading and new to trading and I am learning as I go. I would like to understand the new basket locking on EAX Dash. I am using DashTZ for my entries, still learning about that but getting there. What would classify as a basket for the locking of the profit?Ignored
QuoteDislikedBelow are the locking settings I have put in place. {image} Below is the current trades in place, some of which have been in for some days as it didn't hit my intial Take profit of 100 points I was targeting in the beginning. {image} I am hoping that possibly the Basket locking can assist me with this?
QuoteDislikedI would assume that a basket would be all pairs that contain a matching currency, so for example AUD basket would include AUDJPY, AUDCHF, AUDCAD... So the sum of all of those pairs would be the profit target where it would then close all in that basket once the profit is reached. Or Would a basket only be classified as a basket if it is created from the Dashboard as a single trade and not the single trades created by the DashTZ?
DislikedSo for Example the JPY Pairs. {image} AUDJPY $ 6.77 CADJPY $ 2.85 CHFJPY $ -1.89 EURJPY $ 0.58 GBPJPY $ 3.02 NZDJPY $ 3.85 USDJPY $ 0.34 Total $ 15.52 So profit has gone over $14 for JPY pairs, would I be right in saying that the Dash has now locked $7? Is this how it works based on my previous post with my settings? This doesn't look right, the Lock=$ --.-- is not reflecting any locked $'s? Which it should be?Ignored
Disliked{quote} am I right in the understanding of how the basket should work basically the summation of the pairs which include a particular currency. Like in my example JPY... my lock levels are in the screenshot in post 922 just above my other post? Let me know what I am doing wrong? Thanks SpencerIgnored
Disliked{quote} This basket locking is not new.. it is present since the initial release.. {quote} {quote} Basket is a basket of orders, and these orders doesn't have to be of the same currency. {quote} No, all your open orders have to reach $14 in order to lock $7. {quote} To summarize, basket has nothing to do to currencies, it has to do to orders. That being said, a basket is the sum of all open orders. Hope that helps.Ignored
DislikedOne other bug (i hope it's not intentional to be that way) is, why do you have to put a negative value on SL for baskets: -25$, and on the SL %ADR(10): 25?Ignored
QuoteDislikedThey are confusing, maybe you either force all parameters to have a positive value, like SL for basket could be 25$, and SL ADR 25$ aswell, or both negative... or even have an auto detect for values entered, like using in your code a MathAbs(of the value entered), and tread both entries the same, that way would please both users that may get confused by which kind of value to enter on each field...
QuoteDislikedBecause right now, if you tend to type a negative value in SL %ADR part, you'll be suprised seeing orders auto opening and closing at the same time.
Disliked{quote} Why a bug? This just shows that you haven't read the docs. {quote} I agree that can be confusing to the unnoticed or unattended ones. It was designed that way to allow an interactive way of profit locking (as properly documented), and now that I have the locking levels interactively on-screen, I might think on reverting it back to it original behavior, who knows {quote} If you tend to type a negative value in SL %ADR, you are confirming that you haven't done your homework.Ignored
