Disliked{quote} Me too. My TP is 95 pips (60% of 52 W1 ATR, measured from the highest high of this week).Ignored
Disliked{quote} You are right. I was busy setting the other 2 trades and waited to see that price had broken the DOL which can act as S/R. If you look at my trades you will quite often see that I hold off my entry until price breaks a BRN, DOL or YH/YL or momentum is confirmed. Might be conservative but it can save a lot of griefIgnored
Disliked{quote} ah ok. thanks. i had to go back to that list of acroynms to make sence of all that lol. how does momentum get confirmed though?Ignored
Disliked{quote} speaking of setups, I just took a sell setup on EURCAD H4, The USDCAD H4 setup looks like it possibly might trigger on the next H4 bar if you're interested.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Emm, for a valid swing, we need to wait for a close under the 5, from what I remember reading in one of your older posts. it has to be either candle 4 or 5. Plus, the TDI hasn't crossed yet on UC. The EC is a trade which I have already taken it. But I see differences between the UC setup and EC setup. Can you share some lighting on this issue? If you only took UC based on PA (almost BEEB, doji at R, evening star, plus anticipation of HD), I'd understand. But I cannot see how it is a TMS 5 entry. I am looking forward for your answer.Ignored
Disliked{quote} hmmm, interesting, we have almost the same TP lol, mine was atr [7] x 1.75 which is 100 pips do you break even after a time? or take partial profits?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I don't understand what your are saying. there are 2 bars reversal there are 3 bars reversal there are 5 bars reversal... all depends on what the price bars OHLC look like and the APBs body size and colour change.Ignored
Disliked{quote} To all the senior member on this thread, thank you so much for being awesome. I've been following this thread for 2 months now, been trading the TMS for 2 months and has been successful using Big E's method. Havent gotten to the ME/ME yet. So far I've been successful at 4hr TF, but only if I keep my TP small like 15-20 pips. I am an expert on PASR, still learning about it. However recently I found out that with TP of 15-20 pips, my losses could not cope with my profit. I am now eagerly learning about PASR. Read through everything in babypips,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Dear Emmanuel, what do you think about the current Situation on Eur/Aud? Price broke the resistance. And I enter ed on the next candle,Made 35 Pips already. I think that it will Run to the next BRN. Would be happy if you share youre thought about it. {image}Ignored
DislikedEUDAUD and GBPAUD Week 10 9 Mar If you are selling EA and GA today, your stop loss will be -yesterday's high using the high of the previous 2 days (2-days look back). This stop loss will always trail the average entry price of all your open trades. EA stop loss distance is 120pips GA stop loss distance is 150pips {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Interesting Grid distance! Am I correct that this is not 0.5xADR(100)? If so, why did you choose different approach? Regards,Ignored
Disliked{quote} what grid? those were stop loss from average entry price of open trades. we talk about order distance between every ME trade using 0.5ADR 100 days for those trading with small account. if you do not want to use that 0.5ADR (100) for the order distance, you can use the first method I mentioned before, i.e. to use M15 TDI cross to add ME trades and with a minimum time delay of 4-hours from the last order. This is to prevent too many orders within the same day. Both these methods can be programmed into your EA trade manager. An experienced...Ignored
DislikedEURJPY D1 Started building a basket when market open on Sunday based on my planning. Built up 3 lots and will not add another. If today closes below the MC of Monday IB I will close. Anyone else that has been building in this pair? How are you managing this trade? I have too much exposure to JPY unfortunatly. Carried over a basket of USDJPY from last week also which is now consolidating. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} My point is that your entries were not spaced 0.5xADR apart. So I take it they were based on the 15M TDI Cross?Ignored
Disliked{quote} EJ: I cannot see where your entries and where your average entry price. I know you don't use MT4, but do you have a script to plot your trade entries in your platform? If you have your average entry price level, and also a preset TP level, you can calculate the potential profits of your trades. UJ: yes , very disappointing after NFP. I did not trade this week.Ignored
Disliked{quote} the market volatility is dynamic. if you check the last 5 days and 10 days ADR, these are much smaller than ADR-100days. so if you stick to use 0.5ADR100days, you won't get many ME order. so as the trader, we have to make the discretionary decision not to use the static way. using TDI M15 cross is my pereferred entry method for ME but your trading account must be able to handle the margin requirement. this is where that Van Tharp pdf on money management report come in good use read his topics on using Market's Money and "creative money management...Ignored
