Quoting stockwetDislikedYou're welcome to your own opinion, but, I think the mods are doing a great job keeping spam off the board. Maybe your the type of person that wants to receive every piece of junk mail in your inbox, but not me. A little "censorship" on spam goes a long way with me.

Quoting forexmriDislikedWhen a scalper opens an account with a broker he is set on their STP system (e.g. ACM has the majority of their accounts on STP). STP allows the scalper to trade directly with the liquidity provider (this is ideal for the broker & the trader) but soon the scalping trading pattern (where no market position is actually taken, only an attempt to arbitrage the prices) is recognized (by the liquidity provider) and the trade consequently reject. The scalper trade then needs to be met by the broker who will have to loose money with someone who’s not really trading but taking advantage of a bug in the system. That’s why no broker will allow scalping!! (again don’t know about Dukascopy but will verify that. It would be pretty cool if they do allow scalping)<o></o>Ignored
Quoting forexmriDislikedHighway,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
I don’t know about Dukascopy, but the truth is that in the past I’ve scalp-trade with A LOT of brokers and ALL got really pissed off and several times I got my accounts canceled.<o></o>
<o></o>
To understand why brokers get pissed off by scalpers one needs to understand that they are running a business and selling a product: their platform that connects traders to liquidity providers.<o></o>

Quoting highway3000DislikedOn their website they openly said that it is welcome to scalp. Your trade goes directly to Interbank. They are not holding your trade.

Quoting FXopportunistDislikedWell it is official, ACM is using preventative strategies against news traders.
They have been claiming that it was natural volatility, but today seems to have proven that they are manipulating their spreads.
The USD/CAD widened to 20 pips as early as 2 full minutes before the data release. The price was not even moving when they widened the spreads.
That is not the only problems either. Spiked stops & failed executions have also been experienced.
I don't know what has changed ACM from a good broker to a bad one, but I have read and heard a couple things that make me beleive that UBS is calling the shots at ACM and is now their EXCLUSIVE liquidity provider.
Whatever the case I guess is irrellevant. I am leaving them. Trading with ACM is just like what Trading with FXCM was like back in the day.Ignored
