DislikedThis is not my thread, but please guys, no minute charts over here. If you don't have confidence enough to look only range charts when trading these do more Sim or demo trading. As Divergence said few posts earlier, analysis paralysis is a bad disease, you should avoid it. Been there, done that and won't go again.Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you don't have a chart with minutes on you can't see when entries are triggered and targets reached, only the range bar close. And the fib is on there to see if an entry triggers at a significant retracement of the day's range. I can't see what's wrong with that personally.Ignored
Disliked{quote} i love those stop and reverse opportunities.... that what a fakeout....in a strong trend continuation looks like i.e opportunity.... a method ought be judged byt whether u can stop n reverse it and still make it work...casue nothing is perfectly predictible IMO this thread has a very good methodIgnored
Disliked{quote} Forget the fib. Take 30 days worth of backtest data. Trade it with only range charts and you will start to understand why. Two words:analysis paralysis If you haven't, please, read the book Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I respect your view but it was Divergence himself who mentioned the fib thing.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I know. And will say it again. Forget the fib, forget the minute charts, trade 30 days worth of past data and you start to understand, why you don't need any minute chartsIgnored
