Disliked{quote} Cheers mate for your nice explanation plus backtest! What about using only the signals during london session from 0800 ~ 1700 gmt ??I think this will increase the winning rate rapidly.Ignored
Thanks us fantasy for calling me your mate.
Perhaps some more feedback of my own as well.
I have now done 20 trades (on IQOption) and the results are truly interesting.
While the indicator continue to hover around 50% success, on the actual trades I have lost 5, with 15 winners (75% success rate!!) This is astonishing (for any option strategy) - thanks to us fantasy.
As far as I can see, this difference is due to the following:
1.) Because I have to open the trades manually, there still is an inevitable delay (perhaps 15-20 seconds.) Since the indicators seem to trigger in fast moving markets, there usually is some sort of retrace lasting 15-30 seconds and maybe I am just lucky enough to enter during this period.
I also did a test on Binary.com on which I have live accounts and a huge automated trading system so, here my enter delay is maybe a second or less. My percentages on Binary.com correspond with the MT4 indicator (as such, do not make a profit.)
2.) For whatever reason my broker (Instaforex) close the candle exactly 45 seconds after IQOption? This I do not understand but, it is the truth. As such, the actual closing price is different as well.
Tomorrow, I plan to continue testing but for me it is past midnight so, I'll call it a day.
Once we have 100 trades, we can discuss different session times etc. - or, say thanks to us fantasy and go make some profits so, please do add your experiences.
