umm.......I am no match to Tiger on a round of golf. But if the match was to put the last 1 yard, I might put up a good challenge even over 72 holes. That's where I like the line to be.

Disliked{quote} ROFLMAO Your post reminds of Newton. You see, back in the days everybody know that things fall on the ground. Even a children knew that if you throw something or drop something, it falls on the ground. And then the Genius Newton makes a claim, "The apple falling from a tree... things fall to the ground." Everybody was like, "WTF!?" {quote} ROFLMAO Yes.... Price is moving. And FUCK YES, you've missed a lot of things. You have to forgive me my friend of my sick sense of humor, I couldn't be bothered explaining it again. You've...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I am an Amateur, So is there any Professional out there who can point out the Edge ? If not what is the purpose of the thread anyway ? Its either Share or Not Share. It amazes me how people through half ideas here and there and are scared of "revealing their Secret" if any, as if their Edge will break the market !Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you are in search of a "turn-key" trading system on the internet, might I suggest you abandon this course of action... it is NEVER going to happen. No savvy individual who knows what they need to know in order to ACTUALLY extract profits from the market is EVER going to disclose such information on the internet. They also don't sell such information to pikers like us on the internet(i.e. people selling trading systems online). The best you can hope for is that people post information that may or may not help you get there yourself. It...Ignored
Disliked{quote} My questions/comments were directed to the OP, I you are "the Professional" who is supposed to "Point Out the Edge", well, you didn't. I am not in search of "turn-key" trading systems, actually I share few of those clearly, openly and free, no hidden secrets. What ever I want to keep to myself I simply don't share it. As simple as that. Now , what Value did the thread provide? NOTHING.Ignored

DislikedThere are multiple ways of trading this concept which do not necessarily involve defending the line in the sand and switching direction every time the price crosses. One can for example assume that there is almost always a wick on the candle and then open a trade in the opposite direction upon first "average wick" movement away from the open price. Also, one can make a stop order at the open once the price has moved this average distance. I am sure this can be done even better/smarter than this. Neio: I am happy that you've found your way! All the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I am not the OP but I can help. Here are 2 studies about the "momentum effect" which is trading in the prevailing direction for a given time period(same as trading i the candle direction as candles are just given time periods that can be customized). The first is a study about trading in the direction of a continues yearly candle. Part 1 Part 2...Ignored

Dislikedok Neio, we will move on with the discussion. I apologize if any of the below questions are lame or should not have asked, but if you could answer those, then i hope our discussion in this thread is improving. 1. Is your trade's life time is always within that candle? ie, you open and close the trade within that candle? 2. Are those candles on which the trades are taken are from small timeframes or higher time frames? Cheers, SreeIgnored

Disliked{quote} Apologies, I should not said you are looking for a 'turn-key' trading system. What I am meaning is, that nobody who understands WHEN and WHERE they should be trading is going to openly point out that information on the internet. I.e. if someone has an edge about WHEN and WHERE to trade, why would they point that information out explicitly on the internet so that they could have people competing with them for liquidity at those locations? So, to get away from the idea of 'turn-key' systems... nobody is going to post exactly WHERE the edge...Ignored

Disliked{quote} This was your question {quote} You asked for some one to point out the edge. I provided two studies with hard data to "point out the Edge". The edge is if the candle is above the open it will likely close above the open. If it is below the open, it will likely close below the open. And as the studies show if you follow this idea, it works... Again we can not spoon feed you everything... Do you know what irrelevant means? Do you know how to critically think? Did you forget what you asked that quickly? sis. Also no one wants your condescending...Ignored
