Disliked{quote} Thanks fxpro! I'm still a rookie but here's a snapshot of some of my "better" trades. Overall 20 pips on friday. I have never used a steppedMA, looks cool I'll give it a shot. {image}Ignored
DislikedPepe, I replied with a PM. Has anyone looked at using tick charts in conjunction with a range bar chart for extra confirmation/direction. It seems easier to define trend with MA's on tick charts than on range bars. Just a thought, I'd be interested to know what others thinkIgnored
Disliked{quote} thanks for the pm, i had a look and it looks very interesting. Regarding your question, yes, i used and sometimes i still use a 150 tick chart in conjuction with a range bars 2 pip chart and i find it very useful, better than standard timeframes for me. {image} PepeIgnored
DislikedHey fxpro, Very impressive results. Here's my trades for Friday. 4 pip range. still a rookie demo-ing but making some progress. Would be interested to know what you base your trading entries on etc, if you willing to share? Most of my trades are with the trend, when there's a break of the pull back. Then some fading of the double bottoms. trying to focus on price action mostly and get an understanding of why it moving where etc... haven't found that holy grail indicator yet, though I have been looking lol. Trend lines are great on range bars hey,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi! Keep on the demo trading until you're sure of your strategy! my scalping strategy is very simple, just price action trading. I use the median renko chart for determine higher highs, higher lows, lower highs and lower lows and then i enter on range bars 2 pip chart. (first pic) {image} Lately i have added the heiken ashi chart (the second pic, on the right) in order to try to better read the price action when it is too much confused. {image} If you have some question, let me know PepeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Pepe, Are you still using the trendline entry method as well, or something to do with the renkos now?Ignored
