Institutions with a large capital buffer or fundies with significant FUM and patient investors (note the patient investor requirement) obviously have a significant advantage here in having the luxury of being able to hold out for significant losing periods without having to compromise their trading plan or alternatively if the investor is impatient, can adjust their risk adjusted return accordingly to improve yield but marginally sacrifice pure investment return.
